At SkinVision, we're all about providing you with the most effective tools to keep an eye on your skin health. That's why we offer two types of checks: Smart Check and Standard Check. Let's dive into how they’re different and how you can decide which one to use.
Smart Check: Fast and Automated
- How it works: a Smart Check utilizes our advanced camera technology to take a photo of your mole or birthmark automatically.
- What happens next: Immediately after your photo is taken, our algorithm analyzes the image, giving you an instant risk assessment. In some instances, we might even have your photo reviewed by our panel of dermatologist experts for an extra layer of analysis.
- Ideal for: Smart Check is your go-to option for most moles and birthmarks, especially those with a clear contrast to the surrounding skin. It's quick, easy, and provides instant feedback.
Standard Check: Expert Review
- How it works: When you opt for a Standard Check, your photo is sent to our team of dermatologists who provide a detailed skin recommendation in around 48 hours.
- When to use: The Standard Check is recommended if your mole or birthmark doesn’t contrast significantly with the surrounding skin, making it challenging for the Smart Check to capture accurately.
- Please note, the Standard Check option is not available in the Netherlands.
You can switch between the two nodes at the bottom of the camera screen. Whether you choose the quick and automated Smart Check or the expert-reviewed Standard Check, you're taking a significant step towards managing your skin health effectively.
