SkinVision is available for iOS and Android devices. The app is compatible for most android smart phones (2017 and above) and iPhone 6 and higher devices. To see a list of devices we do not support, see here.
If you can not download SkinVision on your IOS device and is not on the list of unsupported devices, please check whether the device is Play Protect certified.
- Open the Google Play Store
- Open the menu tab and go to 'Settings'
- In the settings screen, scroll down and check the Play Protect certification as shown in the image below:
If your device is not certified, please consult this link for further explanation.
If you already have the app installed on your phone but are unable to update the app or download at all, this could possibly be caused by a glitch in the Google PlayStore. This is a common problem with the Google Playstore, especially with Motorola devices.
We have come to the conclusion that the cause of this lies with Google Play Store/Motorola, limiting our ability to support you in this regard.
Nevertheless, there are some solutions available that have fixed the problem in the past, which we would like to draw your attention to. The possible solutions are clearly described on Motorola's website, via this link. Please follow these steps so that SkinVision can be used by you as well.
- Click on this link
- Select "Applications".
- Choose "Play Store issues"
- Follow the steps and choose "yes" or "no" after each step to see the next step if necessary
If it did not help, you can contact Motorola Helpdesk here.
We are continuously working to optimise the app for other devices, so if you have any questions regarding your device or it is Play Protect certified, please email us at support@skinvision.com.
Please note that SkinVision does not support rooted devices, as they may compromise the security and functionality of our application.
